Senior Manager / Manager - Merchant Sales

Job Responsibilities:

To achieve sales targets and develop a credible and efficient sales force in the assigned territory, as well as to expand the merchant base and establish a strong presence within the payment industry.
Lead, manage and motivate the sales teams to achieve sales KPI’s, i.e. recruit new merchants for credit card, debit card, domestic and payment acceptances for online and offline business.
Provide the leadership in resolving day to day problems and ensure maximum efficiency and productivity of the sales force.
Manage staff recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring in order to build an effective sales force for the medium to longer terms.
Develop and provide meaningful and comprehensive sales statistics to measure the performance of the team and individuals.
Participate in new product launching and working closely with all the relevant departments to ensure a smooth launching of products.
Interact with key merchants with a view to retain and encourage greater usage of Company products and services, and maximize income for the Company in the assigned territory.
Provide support and assistance on any other ad-hoc assignment as and when is assigned by immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess with a minimum five (5) years of working experience in merchant sales or similar position with a proven record of sales achievements.
An experienced leader in leading a sales team in a dynamic and competitive environment.
Candidate with the merchant acquiring experience in the payment industry will be an added advantage.
Good command and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Preferable candidate who is able to converse in multi-languages will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills.
High motivated self-starter, eager to succeed, a team player with pleasant personality.
Objective, aggressive individual and result or target oriented.
Possess own transport with valid driving license and willing to travel.
Working location: Kepong Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

Education Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in any discipline or equivalent.
