Senior Consultant / Consultant - Systems Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

Provide support including performing installation, configuration, upgrade, patching and maintenance services on the range of products / services of the Company.
Alerts / events Monitoring and perform troubleshooting, diagnostic, fixing and recovery of system software and hardware issues and ensure they meet business expectations in terms of SLA and performance.
Provide product and operational training to the customers, partners and operational engineers / technicians.
Perform product demo, system implementation and support for customers within Malaysia and overseas.
Require to standby 24x7 in providing system maintenance and support.
Prepare test scripts and perform system testing for the related products.
Prepare and maintain documentations including operation guide, configuration, troubleshooting guide and training.
Assist in any ad-hoc tasks and additional responsibilities as and when is assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess with a minimum of three (3) years of working experience in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry.
Preferable candidate with experience in maintaining and operating Windows and Linux operating system, software and / or its associated hardware.
Candidate must have experience in basic networking – in terms of troubleshooting of LAN and WAN.
Knowledge of database such as MSSQL and MySQL will be an added advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and Bahasa Malaysia and preferable candidate who is fluent in Mandarin as required to deal with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and work beyond regular working hours if required in meeting timelines and objectives.
Possess own transport with valid driving license and willing to travel.
Thoroughness, meticulousness and good analytical skills.
Good working attitude and a team player.
Working location: Kepong, Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

Education Requirements:

Candidate must possess with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Network Engineering or any other equivalent qualifications.
